Every now and then, I see DMCA and RIAA shutting down websites because they facilitate file sharing and excanging of copyrighted meterials. Facebooks is giving people the options to put their own ads in their own languages, and today I’ve found the above ad in Arabic, and it’s showing a link to a website where people can download an Egyptian movie that’s currently in theaters.
So, I’d like to ask the copyrights fanatics, why don’t you haunt Facebook, Google and Twitter the same way you haunt The Pirate Bay et al. Or you are too week to attack such Internet giants!?
You know what, I am really sick of those laws and policies that attack people all the time in the name of Copyrights. In fact you won’t be able to stop the excange of copyrighted materials altogether. And every day there will be new technologies and services that you can’t resist. So if you really want to stop piracy, just educate people and make it easier and cheaper for them to purchase movies and music.
